NNormal Trail Shoe Resole | Authorised UK Repair
Authorised NNormal Trail Shoe Resole
Extend the life of worn NNormal trail shoes with a professional Vibram resole completed by Sole & Trail, an authorised UK NNormal repairer.
NNormal works with Vibram certified cobblers to keep its footwear in use for longer through professional resoling and repair. The programme is designed to replace worn outsoles while retaining footwear that still has life left in the upper and midsole.
Every pair is assessed before work begins. We check the condition of the upper, midsole and overall construction to make sure a resole will provide a reliable result.
Where possible, we aim to maintain the intended weight, profile, flexibility and overall character of the original footwear.
Our Vibram sole options
The most suitable outsole depends on the NNormal model, shoe size, width, condition and intended use.
Vibram Zegatrac 1409
A more aggressive trail option designed to provide dependable grip across technical and mixed terrain.
Features include:
• Vibram Megagrip rubber
• Vibram Litebase construction
• Traction Lug technology
• 5mm lugs
• Available in black, blue or orange, depending on size and stock
The Zegatrac is generally best suited to footwear that can accommodate its broader sole shape.
Vibram Trail 1406
A slightly lower profile option suited to trail running, firmer ground and mixed road to trail use.
Features include:
• Vibram Megagrip rubber
• Vibram Litebase construction
• Traction Lug technology
• 4.5mm lugs
• Available in black or blue, depending on size and stock
This is a versatile option where a lighter, less aggressive tread is preferred.
Choosing the correct sole
Not every sole option is compatible with every NNormal model or size.
We will assess the footwear when it arrives and contact you if the selected sole is unsuitable or another option would provide a better result.
Colour options
Select your preferred colour when ordering where an option is available.
Colour availability can vary by sole and size. If no colour is selected, we may use the most suitable available option, which can sometimes provide the quickest turnaround.
Important information about midsole wear
A new outsole replaces the worn external tread, but it does not make the complete shoe new again.
Resoling cannot restore cushioning where the original midsole has become heavily compressed, split or structurally damaged. We may decline the repair where we do not believe the remaining footwear will support a reliable resole.

Good to know
Resoling suitability depends on the condition and construction of the footwear. If your pair isn’t a good candidate, we’ll contact you before any work goes ahead.
