Approach Shoe Repairs & Resoles
Give worn approach shoes and technical outdoor footwear a new lease of life with professional repairs and Vibram resoling from our Kendal workshop.
Approach shoes are designed to provide grip, stability and precision across rocky paths, scrambling terrain and technical mountain approaches. Once the original tread has worn down, a suitable replacement outsole can extend the life of the footwear and restore dependable performance.

Every pair is assessed individually. We consider the construction and condition of the footwear, the terrain it is used on and what you would like the repair to improve.
Our Vibram sole options include compounds and tread patterns suited to wet rock, technical paths, mixed trails and everyday outdoor use. Where possible, we aim to maintain the intended weight, profile, flexibility and overall characterof the original footwear.
Our current estimated turnaround is approximately 2 to 3 weeks from the date your footwear arrives with us.

Not every replacement outsole is compatible with every approach shoe.
