Give worn trainers and outdoor footwear a new lease of life with a professional resole using Vibram Megalug in Megagrip rubber.

Megalug has a distinctive multi-directional tread designed to provide dependable traction across pavements, paths, rock and mixed ground. Vibram Megagrip offers a strong balance of grip on wet and dry terrain, durability, stability and flexibility.

This is a sheet resole rather than a pre-moulded sole unit. The rubber is cut and shaped specifically to suit the footprint of compatible footwear, allowing us to create a practical replacement walking surface with a clean, custom finish.

Every pair is assessed before work begins. Where possible, we aim to maintain the intended weight, profile, flexibility and overall character of the original footwear.

Good to know

This service replaces the external walking surface. It cannot restore cushioning or support where the original midsole has heavily compressed, split or deteriorated.

The new tread may slightly change the weight, flexibility and underfoot feel of the footwear. We prepare each pair carefully to keep these changes to a minimum.

How the process works

1. Pay online – complete your order on our website.

2. Note your order number – write it down and include it in the box.

3. Pack carefully – box up your footwear with your order details inside.

4. Send it to us – post your parcel using a courier of your choice.

5. We complete the repair – once finished, we’ll ship your footwear back to you.

Return postage

Return postage is a flat rate of £3.99 via Royal Mail Tracked 48 (2nd Class). Tracking is emailed once your repair is complete (usually 24–48 hours before Royal Mail collects from our store).

Due to the high volume of parcels we receive by post, we’re unable to confirm their arrival. Please track your parcel using your chosen courier.

Resoling suitability depends on the condition and construction of the footwear. If your pair isn’t a good candidate, we’ll contact you before any work goes ahead.
